Hello again!

I have no idea why that post from October posted several times!

I have again began to think how I want to take this journey. I feel that my life has to be in order to do this but whats really "order"?

I have thought about getting the three degree books but might wait and see what they give me.

Hope everyone is well and I am looking forward to this.

I received my Freemasonry For Dummies today! Read about 50 pages and am so glad that I have decided to do this. I have not touched morals and dogma
yet but plan to at least read it before I go looking for a lodge.

There is alot to which I can learn here and I can take my Christian/Buddhism beliefs there without issue. I have told many people about this journey and nearly everyone I have told has
gave me a bit of guff about doing it except for my wife.

Some things said to me so far by friends not in Masonry:

I know many of these are not true but I don't know enough about them yet to judge. I don't have any more kids at home and need a hobby and thought that freemasonry could be it. I have a old style of thinking and grew up going to muzzle loader shoots dressing in deer skins and shooting old style muskets so there has to be some worldly reason this has come into my life.
AS in everything I will make a wise deep decision before diving head first. I want to read about the 3 degree's before I jump in and are forced to learn them.
I will never post here where I am from because I don't want people to judge my lodge if there are different ways we do things. I do also realize that there things I will never be able to write about as there are ways of the freemasonry that are secret and should remain that way. As the book says I am not a stoolie!
Thank you Christopher Hodapp for writing this book and anyone who might read this and be able to offer information good or bad please do.
Having been labeled alot of things in my life trucker. biker, asshole, husband, son, brother, human and possibly Freemason its a mission I have to accomplish for my own. I really hate labels they limit us so much but being part of the bigger picture is important for me. I feel as thou I have alot to offer people and like Christopher Hodapp I want to be a 32 degree mason someday.
Life is short enjoy it now while you can because someday it will be gone.

Today I made the decision to persue becoming a freemason. I downloaded Freemason Morals and Dogma by: Albert Pike and ordered me a copy of Freemasonary for Dummies by Christopher Hodapp. I have really not been part of something besides a job and a marriage since boy scouts and Junior Achievement in high school. I look forward to learning the different aspects of Freemasonary and having this journal will allow people to see what I have gone through to make this happen.

I did not arrive at this decision over night I did alot of thinking and soul searching to help this and want to grow as a person and I feel as though freemasonary could help that.

I hope to beable to accomplish this as its something I think will really change my outlook on the world and my life.
